USPS is seeking Assist­ant Rural Carriers to deliver and collect packages on designated suburban and rural routes. The role often requires working on weekends and holidays, sometimes up to seven days of parcel delivery.

You may use your own vehicle to perform duties outdoors and provide reliable service. Starting pay ranges from $23.47 to $38.62 per hour with a potential annual compensation including federal benefits up to $72,400.

Responsibilities

• Customer Assistance: Address mail-related questions and service issues from customers
• Mail Handling: Sort, label, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail accurately and efficiently
• Clerical Work: Perform administrative support tasks to aid daily USPS operations
• Service Support: Assist with services such as mail forwarding, package holds, and change-of-address requests
