Job summary

Ally Waste / WasteXperts by Ally Waste is seeking a Waste Tech to support apartment communities with daily trash and recycling services. You will drive routes, service waste areas, and document work via our mobile app in an active outdoor role.

The position is full-time with Monday–Friday shifts starting at 04:00 AM. Competitive hourly pay of $22.00, with overtime possible and benefits including insurance and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Valid non-CDL license with at least 2 years of licensed driving.
• Clean driving record verified after offer.
• Ability to frequently lift 50–80 lbs and push/maneuver equipment over 500 lbs.
• Ability to work independently and maintain pace through a full shift.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company truck and trailer to service properties on a daily route.
• Move bins for hauler pickup using on-site equipment.
• Sort trash, recycling, and compostables per procedures.
• Compact and redistribute materials to maximize space.
• Sweep and maintain trash enclosures, rooms, and chutes.
• Remove bulky items such as furniture and equipment as needed.
• Identify and safely handle hazardous materials per training.
• Document services with photos using our mobile app.
• Communicate service issues or access problems to management.
• Build positive relations with property teams and residents.
• Participate in vehicle inspections and report issues immediately.
