Mason Private Locating, LLC is seeking motivated individuals to join our field team as Underground Utility Locate Technicians in North Dakota. You will locate and mark public and private utilities, read maps, and support excavation projects to prevent damage and downtime.

Qualifications

• 1+ years previous utility locating or related field experience.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable outdoors in varying weather.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Able to pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Locate and mark underground utilities for public and private infrastructure.
• Read and interpret utility maps, plans, GIS data.
• Document utility locations accurately.
• Support construction crews by locating utilities before excavation.
• Monitor excavation activities as Watch & Protect duties.
• Communicate with contractors and project managers.
• Complete required documentation using mobile apps.
• Follow safety policies and industry best practices.
