Job summary

Stake Center Locating is hiring entry level Locate Technicians to locate underground utilities, troubleshoot, and mark the ground (using paint and flags), promoting damage prevention in your community. We will train you on the job and equip you with the basic skills to be successful in our 100% paid training.

This role requires working outdoors in all weather, the ability to work independently, and the capacity to solve problems with speed and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Reading maps and blueprints to determine locating sequence.
• Using laptop to receive, document and process tickets and email.
• Ability to problem solve quickly and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Read maps, interpret blueprints, and determine best locating method and sequence.
• Use locate equipment to accurately identify underground utilities.
• Communicate effectively with peers, managers, and homeowners.
