Job summary

Kitchen Tune-Up Franchise System is seeking contractors to install and replace exterior trim components across windows, doors, corners and fascia. This role covers surface prep, trim installation, sealing, and optional painting, with a 1-3 day duration and ready-now start.

Compensation is $1,500.00 per week, bi-weekly on completion. Flexible schedules and remote options are available; safety licenses and coverage are expected where applicable.

Qualifications

• Contractor license and liability insurance are standard expectations.
• Experience with trim installation around windows/doors and weatherproofing.
• Ability to read scope of work and adhere to safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Remove existing trim when applicable and prepare surfaces.
• Install new exterior-grade trim (wood, PVC or fiber cement).
• Seal joints and penetrations; perform priming/painting as specified.
• Ensure proper fastening, alignment and cleanup after completion.

Scope Of Work

Provide labor and materials for installation and/or replacement of exterior trim components. This includes trim around windows, doors, corners, fascia, soffits, and other architectural elements.

Work Includes

• Removal of existing trim (if applicable)
• Surface preparation and inspection of substrate
• Installation of new exterior-grade trim (wood, PVC, or fiber cement)
• Proper fastening and alignment for weather resistance
• Sealing of joints, seams, and penetrations with exterior-grade caulk
• Priming and/or painting (if specified)
• Cleanup and disposal of debris

Exclusions (unless Noted)

• Structural repairs to framing
• Full siding replacement
• Painting beyond trim scope
