Job summary

Lewis Tree Service is actively seeking a Trimmer to support utility vegetation management and line clearance projects for electric utility clients. You will perform ground-level and elevated pruning, operate cutting equipment, and assist with site setup and safety protocols in various outdoor environments.

Qualifications include 12+ months on tree crews, climbing or aerial lift experience, and a valid CDL/medical cert.

Qualifications

• Experience on tree crews and pruning techniques.
• Ability to climb or work in elevated positions using aerial lifts.
• CDL license and medical certification as required; CPR/First Aid provided by Lewis.

Responsibilities

• Ground-level and aloft tree pruning and vegetation removal to maintain clearance around power lines and equipment.
• Operate chainsaws, chippers, and similar equipment; lower limbs and rig trees as needed.
• Assist with job site setup, maintenance, rigging, traffic control, and general cleanup.
• Support job site safety by spotting, assisting climbers, and communicating hazards.
• Travel as needed for work, including potential overnight stays.
