Job summary

SavATree LLC in Norcross, GA is seeking a Groundsperson to join our Tree Care Team. You will work outdoors on a crew, performing pruning, removals, cable bracing, and related tasks with safety and quality as top priorities.

Experience with pruning large trees and ornamentals, identifying tree species, and operating chainsaws and bucket trucks is required. We offer training, competitive compensation, and benefits including health and dental, PTO, 401(k), and a Flexible Spending Plan.

Qualifications

• Experience with pruning practices including large shade trees and ornamentals.
• Ability to identify native and introduced tree and shrub species.
• Experience with tree care safety standards.
• Practical knowledge of chainsaw and equipment operation.
• Experience with aerial lifts (bucket truck).
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Prune and remove trees as part of General Tree Care crew.
• Assist with cable bracing and other tree care tasks.
• Safely operate tree care equipment.
• Provide high-quality service to clients.
• Work outdoors visiting properties.
