Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years in a management role leading teams.
• At least 2+ years in retail or the snow/water/bike sports industry.
• Motivate teams, increase sales, and drive store profitability.
• Understand shrink reduction and inventory control.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities with vendors and leadership.
• Experience recruiting, interviewing, training, and developing employees.
• Excellent time management, multitasking, and attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Enthusiast with a passion for cycling, skiing/snowboarding, water sports and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding service that exceeds customer expectations.
• Deliver ski and bike services promptly and to standard.
• Train and mentor staff on selling strategies.
• Create and execute sales-driven business plans.
• Identify operations issues and implement solutions.
• Maintain store presentation per visual standards.
• Follow all Sun & Ski policies and procedures.
• Attend product knowledge clinics to stay current.
• Represent Sun & Ski in the local community.
• Organize store and community events to boost engagement.
• Manage store expenses and payroll; prioritize and delegate.
• Communicate with store leadership and home office.
• Minimize inventory loss and ensure accurate cash handling.
