Job summary

A leading landscaping company in Lafayette, LA, is looking for a Spray Technician. This role involves accurately calibrating and applying chemicals to maintain landscaped areas and monitoring for potential issues. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and preferably a Chemical Applicators Certification. The position offers a salary range of $18.50-$24.50 per hour, with benefits including medical, dental, and a 401K plan.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED is required.
• One year experience or a minimum of a two-year degree in a related field.
• Must currently have or be able to obtain a Chemical Applicators Certification.
• Must have a valid Class D driver's license and clear Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Experience with customer service.
• Candidate must be able to walk for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Accurately calibrate and apply chemicals to landscaped areas.
• Monitor areas for existing and potential problems.
• Maintain accurate records of products and problems encountered.
• Safely operate various equipment.
