Block by Block is hiring a Safety Ambassador to patrol assigned zones, engaging with pedestrians, and providing directions. The role includes reporting incidents to authorities and gathering contact information for local businesses.

A valid driver’s license is preferred, and you must be 18+ with the ability to work outdoors in all conditions. We offer weekly pay, pay advances, PTO, free uniforms, and an assistance program for employees.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred; we will train.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid Driver's License preferred.
• Must have a HS Diploma or GED.
• Must be able to walk/traverse for an eight-hour shift with breaks.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all conditions.

Responsabilités

• Patrol the assigned zone on foot and/or bike.
• Provide information, assistance and directions to pedestrians and visitors.
• Report unwanted behavior to local authorities with clear descriptions.
• Request compliance for low-level quality-of-life issues.
• Acknowledge pedestrians and provide city information.
• Visit zone businesses to share information and gather contacts.
• Complete basic daily reports in English.
