Job summary

Join L.L.Bean's Nashua Outlet as a Temporary, Part-Time Floor Stocker to receive, stock, and process merchandise. You’ll replenish floors, scan cases with RF devices, and prep product to floor-ready standards while collaborating with a busy team.

You’ll handle returns, assists with store events, adjust pricing, and ensure accurate inventory through RF scanning and paperwork checks. A high school diploma or GED is required with comfort in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Some retail experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills.

• Comfortable with basic computer skills and RF device use.

Responsibilities

• Product replenishment.
• Transfer racks from truck into back-stock receiving area.
• Receive/scan cases through use of RF device.
• Open cases and sort merchandise into carts for stocking by department.
• Prepare product to floor-ready standards with proper folding, stickers, packaging.
• Utility replenish supplies store-wide (catalogs, bags, gift boxes, totes, hangers, flyers).
• Retrieve returns, pick and ships, monogramming and alterations.
• Assist with coordination of supplies, fixtures and set up for campus events as needed.
• Reprocessing: determine disposition for merchandise returns and rejects.
• Retag and prep product for the sales floor.
• Scan out and package 2nd quality product to Returns.
• Determine disposition of 3rd quality product (Employee Store or destroy).
• Complete work and verify accuracy by reviewing online reports.
• Change prices/re-tag product using tagging guns.
• Pick and Ships: audit orders for accuracy against paperwork.
• Check for correct product, contact information, and completed Pro Serve services.
• Box or bag pick and ships, complete online documentation, and stage for UPS pickup.
• Organization: maintain clean work space and assist with daily upkeep/recycling.
• Partner with leadership to adhere to designated workstations in Back of House to support inventory control/accuracy.

• Safety: follow all safety rules and report unsafe acts or conditions.
• Demonstrate safe work practices and proper hazardous material returns handling.
• Brand Team: provide exceptional customer service using our GUIDE selling model.
• Replenish/stock merchandise onto fixtures according to established standards.
• Retrieve additional stock/sizes from back stock areas to represent all sizes on the floor.
• Organize and maintain backstock areas by Item ID and size.
