Job summary

EMR USA Metal Recycling seeks a Quality Assurance Inspector to ensure safety, quality, and smooth operations on a field-based role. You will inspect loads outdoors, identify debris, and coordinate with teams, sometimes near heavy machinery, in varying weather conditions.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, safety, and strong communication. Prior QA experience is preferred but not required; high school diploma or GED is sufficient, and reliable transportation is expected.

Responsibilities

• Inspect loads for debris, ensuring materials are free from concrete, dirt, trash.
• Perform quality checks to prevent hazardous materials from entering processing.
• Determine deductions from loads for unwanted materials.
• Direct site traffic for all trucks in and out of the facility.
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends and practices.
