Job summary

Ferrellgas is hiring a Full Time Material Handler to join our outdoor team on the dock, inspecting, loading, and unloading propane cylinders and tanks for drivers and customers. This hands-on role supports safety and smooth operations, with training and active, physical work in all weather.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• 1+ year of work experience (preferred) - training provided for right candidate.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in all weather conditions.
• Commitment to safety, teamwork, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and load propane cylinders and tanks.
• Fill customer cylinders at the dock (when applicable).
• Scrape and paint tanks/cylinders as needed to maintain safety and quality standards.
• Keep the yard, plant, and office areas clean and professional in appearance.
