Job summary

CRH's Oldcastle division in Chandler, AZ is seeking an entry-level general laborer to support outdoor and production activities. You will be active all day, clean, operate simple equipment, and assist with loading and inventory tasks. Pay starts at $20 per hour with benefits and opportunities for growth.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to lift up to 100 lbs, and adherence to safety procedures studied in weekly meetings. Pre-employment screening applies.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Pre-employment drug screening and background check may be required.
• Ability to work well in a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean-up machinery and conveyors, maintain the surrounding area, and keep equipment free of debris during downtime
• Operate equipment such as hoppers, bagging and sealer machines, forklift, palletizers, hydraulic equipment, powered tractors or vehicles, among others
• Clean floors and pick up reusable scrap for salvage, transport trash and debris away from production areas
• Operate a variety of hand tools
• Assist in the loading/unloading of trucks
• Maintain, verify, and count product inventory
• Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
