Job summary

Ferguson is seeking a Warehouse Pipe Yard Associate for our Waterworks location in Chantilly, VA. The role involves working both in a warehouse and outdoors in a pipe yard, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM and occasional overtime.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts, building and transporting pallets, and accurately receiving and stocking material. You will work outdoors year-round, exposed to all weather conditions, and must comply with PPE safety rules.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory.
• Forklift operator experience strongly preferred.
• Able to carry objects up to 50 lbs by hand and 50 lbs or more using equipment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate stand-up forklift and sit-down forklift to pull and prepare outbound orders.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and large piping.
• Work outdoors year-round in a pipeyard, in all weather conditions.
• Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material accurately and timely.
• Receive and store inventory effectively.
• Adhere to safety regulations including PPE use with a 400 lbs weight capacity harness.
