Job summary

Mosquito Joe is hiring a Mosquito Control Technician to work outdoors and protect yards from mosquitoes, ticks and fleas across the local area. Training will be provided and licensing support offered as needed.

You will work 7:00am–4:30pm, Monday through Friday, with no nights and limited weekends. The role includes a franchise car perk and a hands-on, active work environment that keeps you moving outdoors.

Qualifications

• Positive, can-do attitude to work.
• Available to work Monday to Friday 7:00am–4:30pm.
• Able to lift and carry a backpack up to 65 lbs.
• Able to walk with a 65 lb backpack for long periods.
• Must wear protective gear and a uniform.
• Must handle summer heat.
• No moral qualms about pest control.
• Commit to season through mid-November; no side gigs.
• Agree to a minimum 2 weeks notice.
• No leave in first 60 days; outside employment requires written approval.

Responsibilities

• Conquer mosquitoes and other pests to protect customers' outdoor spaces.
• Represent Mosquito Joe with professionalism and deliver great customer service.
• Coordinate with the local office to ensure proper supplies and know which property to treat.
