Job summary

A utility locating company in Oregon is seeking entry-level Locate Technicians. You will receive 100% paid training to learn how to locate underground utilities and promote damage prevention. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working outdoors, possess a valid driver's license, and have a strong problem-solving ability. This position offers a competitive pay rate of $19.00 per hour, flexible schedules, and various benefits including PTO and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Eighteen years of age or older.
• Valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to walk up to 5 miles a day 2-3 times a week.
• Ability to carry equipment of up to 25 lbs.
• Pass pre-employment background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Use a laptop to process tickets and email.
• Read maps and interpret blueprints.
• Use technology to locate underground utilities.
• Communicate effectively with team and homeowners.
