Job summary
Wonderly Lights of Virginia Beach-Norfolk is seeking a dependable Outdoor Lighting Technician to join our team. This hands-on role involves installing and servicing landscape and holiday lighting for residential and commercial properties across Hampton Roads.
You’ll work outdoors, on ladders, handle wiring, and troubleshoot lighting systems while delivering friendly, professional service to customers. Training is provided and opportunities for advancement are available.
Qualifications
- Must be dependable and ready to work.
- Comfortable outdoors and on ladders.
- Enjoy physical, hands-on work.
- Willing to learn and have a positive attitude.
- Able to lift 50 pounds and work in varying weather.
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred.
Responsibilities
- Install landscape lighting systems
- Install holiday lighting on residential and commercial properties
- Safely work from ladders and rooftops
- Run, secure, and conceal wiring for clean installations
- Troubleshoot and repair lighting systems
- Load, unload, and organize tools, materials, and equipment
- Work as part of a team to complete projects safely and efficiently
- Provide friendly, professional service while working on customers' properties
