Job summary

TruGreen in Plainfield, IL is seeking a Residential Lawn Care Technician to service homes across the Naperville area. You will manage your own route, apply lawn treatments, and build trusted relationships with customers while working outdoors.

No lawn care experience? Paid training, state certification, and opportunities for career growth back you. Starting pay is $20 per hour with bonuses, overtime during peak season, and benefits after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 19 years old at hire.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to work.
• Ability to pass MVR and consent to a criminal background check.
• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Reliable, self-motivated, customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently.
• Must be physically located in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle on an assigned route (must be able to become DOT certified).
• Applying lawn care treatments to residential and commercial properties.
• Identify customer needs and recommend solutions and additional services.
• Managing your route and customer information using a tablet.
• Building relationships with customers and delivering exceptional service.
• Work outdoors in a fast-paced, independent environment safely.
