Job summary

Under Canvas is seeking a 2027 Laundry Attendant for Acadia, Surry, Maine. This seasonal, hourly position involves maintaining clean linens, restocking supplies, and supporting camp operations to ensure guests enjoy a high standard of service.

You must be able to lift up to 45 lbs, work outdoors in varying weather, and may have access to team member housing for the season. A High School Diploma or GED is preferred and teamwork is valued.

Qualifications

• Able to lift a minimum of 45 lbs.
• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain supply of clean linens and towels.
• Sort used linens, load washers, run wash cycles, dry, fold, and restock.
• Assist team members to ensure high service standards for guests.
• Demonstrate stamina to work long hours outdoors in varying weather.
• Interact professionally with guests and co-workers; problem-solve as needed.
