Job summary

BrightView Landscapes, LLC is seeking a Landscaper I to support landscape maintenance across diverse properties. You will perform basic tasks under supervision, operate commercial landscaping equipment, and assist with plant material upkeep.

This role involves outdoor work on varied sites, with a focus on safety and efficiency while maintaining high-quality landscapes. Training and certification on equipment are provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and enthusiastic.
• Ability to safely operate equipment like power saws and cutters.
• Certified on level 1 equipment (backpack blower, stick edger, string trimmer, walk-behind mower).
• Familiar with basic horticultural maintenance operations/practices.

Responsibilities

• Cut turf using power mowers, trim and edge with edger/trimmer, operate gas-powered blower.
• Prune shrubs and low trees to improve shape or growth habit.
• Plant and maintain flower beds.
• Operate edger/line trimmer along sidewalks and beds.
• Report unsafe conditions to Crew Leader.
