Job summary

Moon Valley Nurseries is seeking an experienced Planting Crew member to install trees and plants for customers in Franklin, TN. You will follow landscape plans, ensure proper spacing, and maintain equipment and work areas while delivering excellent service.

The role requires physical work outdoors, ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and adherence to safety standards. High school diploma preferred; prior landscaping experience is a plus, with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform manual labor.
• Experience in landscaping, horticulture, or related field is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Plant trees, shrubs, and other plants as per landscape plans and specs.
• Ensure proper fertilization and planting techniques for healthy growth.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and equipment.
• Coordinate tasks with team members and supervisors to complete projects on time.
• Assist with loading/unloading plants, tools, and equipment; ensure proper counts and safe handling.
• Use PPE and follow safety guidelines to maintain personal and team safety.
• Understand Blue Stake/811 color requirements to protect underground utilities; follow safety policies.
