Job summary

Block by Block is seeking a Hospitality Ambassador to improve street-level spaces by being friendly, visible, and helpful to the public. You will engage pedestrians, provide directions, and help maintain a clean, safe environment.

The position offers a $21.00 per hour pay and a second shift (Wed-Fri-Sun, 10:30am-7:00pm; Sat 1:30pm-10:00pm). Weekly pay, pay advances, PTO, and free uniforms are among benefits, with training provided for all new hires.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to walk and operate a rolling cart for up to eight hours.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Must speak, read, and write English to create basic reports.

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive, professional demeanor at all times while carrying out tasks.
• Acknowledge and engage pedestrians, provide directions and information.
• Remove litter and graffiti, clean outdoor surfaces, and straighten surfaces.
• Be watchful for unsafe behavior and report to Safety Ambassadors.
• Complete basic daily task reports in English.
