L.L.Bean is seeking an Associate Designer for our Hardgoods Design team in Freeport, ME. You will support experienced designers and collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop brand-right outdoor gear across Hunt Fish Apparel & Gear, Sporting Outdoor Equipment, and Travel Goods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in design or related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant hardgoods experience.
• Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.

Responsibilities

• Support design team in translating trends into brand-right outdoor gear.
• Assist in sketches, renderings, prototypes, and tech packs in Illustrator & FlexPLM.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine, test, and commercialize designs.
• Create colorups of pattern work and handoffs to Graphics for production artwork.
