Job summary

Smart Resources Group is seeking a Grain Handling Associate to support facility operations. You will receive, direct, and unload grain trucks and railcars using dump pits and lift systems, and climb ladders to access bins and equipment platforms.

Responsibilities include operating conveyors, augers, legs, and bucket elevators to move grain, opening slide gates to control flow, cleaning spills, and ensuring work areas remain hazard-free while following fall protection requirements.

Responsibilities

• Receive, direct, and unload grain trucks and railcars using dump pits and lift systems
• Climb ladders and stairs to access bins, silos, and equipment platforms
• Operate conveyors, augers, legs, and bucket elevators to move grain
• Open and close slide gates to control grain flow
• Shovel, sweep, and vacuum spilled grain and debris
• Load outbound trucks and railcars to proper weight limits
• Maintain clean pits, tunnels, and work areas to prevent hazards
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Follow fall protection requirements
• Assist with facility repairs and seasonal maintenance projects
• Report mechanical issues or safety concerns to supervisors
