Job summary

GardenCore in Maryland is seeking a full-time forklift operator for outdoor yard work. You will handle 5,000 lb forklifts, organize product on the yard, and load/unload from flatbeds and trailers.

This role requires at least 2 years of forklift experience, English reading/writing ability, and the stamina to work outside in varying weather. GardenCore offers competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a 5,000 lb forklift in outdoor yard environment.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Ability to pass forklift certification training and safety procedures.
• Physical ability to lift up to 65 lbs and work outside in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate stretch wrap machines, film roll enders, and extended boom forklift equipment.
• Organize product on the yard according to inventory procedures.
• Safely load and unload product from flatbeds and trailers.
• Audit, record, and interpret shipping documentation, weights, measures, and schedules.
• Other duties related to the job as needed.
