Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Groundperson to assist with brush clearing and debris feeding into a woodchipper, while watching for hazards and keeping the travel path clear for crew safety.

Responsibilities include operating a chainsaw to cut brush, dragging and feeding material into the chipper, and servicing vehicles and equipment to keep them in good working order. Must be 18+, no experience required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years-of-age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Entry-level position, no experience required.
• Previous experience a plus.
• Upon offer, may be required to pass pre-employment drug screen, background and/or MVR check.
• Driver's License Preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate chainsaw to cut brush, logs and stumps of larger trees.
• Drag, gather, and feed brush into wood chipper.
• Services vehicles and equipment, maintaining them in neat, clean, and specified mechanical order.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Entry-level position, no experience required
