Job summary

The Rocky Mountain Conservancy's AmeriCorps Conservation Corps seeks a Crew Leader to guide a 4–8 member crew on trail maintenance, vegetation work, and habitat restoration. Expect extensive camping across Northern Colorado, with collaboration alongside the National Park Service and USDA Forest Service.

You will supervise, train, and support members, manage logistics and meal funds, and ensure safety and project success throughout the season.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills - verbal and written.
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory abilities.
• Preferred experience in trail work and wilderness travel.
• Current Wilderness First Aid certification (in-house or reimbursed).
• Ability to motivate and create a positive team environment.
• Excellent organization and time management.

Responsibilities

• Lead a crew of 4–8 members on conservation projects.
• Ensure crew safety and project quality while coordinating with partners.
• Manage meal funds and submit receipts for the season.
• Foster crew dynamics and provide mentorship and training.
