Job summary

CEMEX is seeking a Worker Yard to perform a range of strenuous unskilled and semi-skilled tasks under supervision at our Escondido facility. The role involves physical labor outdoors, adhering to safety rules, and supporting maintenance activities.

Ideal candidates read, write, and speak English; a high school diploma is preferred and bilingual abilities are a plus. The position requires readiness to work in a heavy industrial environment with PPE and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and speaking English is required.
• Bilingual ability is a plus for this role.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Digging, excavating, trenching, and backfilling.
• Keeping the facility clean and organized.
• Building forms and stripping forms.
• Mixing and pouring concrete and castables.
• Performing or assisting with minor maintenance and repairs.
• Assist in clean-up before and after maintenance work.
• Follow CEMEX and OSHA safety rules and wear PPE at all times.
• Meet or exceed company safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
