Job summary

Lamar Advertising Company in Des Moines, IA is hiring an Installer to join the Operations crew. The role involves installing and maintaining billboards, often solo, with a focus on safety and accuracy.

The position offers a regular Monday–Friday schedule from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm and an hourly wage of $20–$22, plus generous PTO and a comprehensive training program. The role requires the ability to work at heights and operate power and hand tools while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work alone and manage schedules effectively.
• Willingness to work at heights up to 100 feet (as applicable).
• Basic computer skills including Word & Excel.

Responsibilities

• Remove and hang flexes from billboards and install vinyls.
• Build and install extensions on billboards; perform minor repairs.
• Use power/manual tools and follow safety regulations.
• Attend installer and construction safety meetings as required.
• Maintain operation vehicles and construction tools.
• Take completion photos for proof of performance.
