Williamsburg Learning is seeking enthusiastic Outdoor and Leadership Mentors to serve as Adventure Guides across Colorado. You will support Outdoor and Leadership Adventures, helping students earn PE and elective credits while fostering growth, resilience, and leadership.

Guides operate in a safe, engaging environment, partnering with Adventure Leads, traveling as needed, and providing support during 9:00 AM–3:00 PM sessions that span 2–5 hours.

Competenze

• Minimum 18 years old and one year post–high school.
• Outdoor and/or leadership experience preferred.
• Current First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check.
• Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills.
• Experience mentoring youth in grades 6–12.

Mansioni

• Participate in training on the Williamsburg Adventures model for meaningful experiences.
• Conduct 1:1 conversations, group discussions, and reflection before/during/after activities.
• Attend required trainings online and in person.
• Travel within assigned geographic area to support programming.
• Supervise multiple student groups and assist Adventure Leads during events.
• Lead activities, take attendance, and assist with setup and cleanup.
• Ensure safety procedures and supervision during adventures.
