Job summary

Azenta Life Sciences seeks a Senior Manager, Outbound Value Stream to lead end-to-end outbound operations across retrieval, verification, discards, shipping and logistics. You will align people, processes and resources to improve flow, safety and customer outcomes while delivering on key KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive operations leadership in regulated environments.
• 3+ years of leadership managing leaders and frontline teams.
• Proven success leading operational performance, process improvement, and organizational change.
• Experience using KPIs and data-driven decision-making.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and change management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end performance for Retrieval, Verification, Discards, Shipping, and Logistics.
• Establish priorities and operating plans aligned with demand and objectives.
• Drive safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost objectives.
• Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant processing of outbound specimens and materials.
• Maintain visibility to workload, capacity, throughput, and risk.
• Develop 12–24 month strategy and future operating model for growth.
• Lead Daily Management and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and sustain Standard Work across outbound operations.
• Champion ABS principles and Kaizen initiatives.
• Use data to identify gaps and drive improvement.
• Manage KPIs and support SIOP and AOP execution.
• Collaborate with Scheduling to translate demand into daily plans.
• Partner with Quality, Facilities, PMO, Informatics, Data Analytics, Logistics, and EHS.
