Job summary

Arvato Bertelsmann in Louisville, KY is seeking an Outbound Shipping Clerk to support outbound orders, paperwork, and yard management. This role requires attention to detail and good communication with carriers and internal teams.

You will work with warehouse equipment, perform data entry in a warehouse management system, and ensure safe operation of equipment when certified. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, at least 2 years of SAP or WMS experience, intermediate Excel skills, and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years SAP or other WMS experience.
• Excel - intermediate experience.
• Experience operating warehousing equipment (forklifts, order pickers, pallet runners).
• Experience with transportation, freight carriers, or dispatching is a plus.
• Proficient in English and MS Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Prepare outbound orders and related paperwork (BOLS, delivery manifests, yard docs).
• Communicate with carriers, supervisor, and Trade teams.
• Enter data into a warehouse management system and file documents.
• Occasionally operate on the warehouse floor with equipment operators.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely (when certified).
