Instrumentl is hiring an Outbound Sales Development Representative to build our cold outbound motion, targeting nonprofits and universities that can benefit from Instrumentl.
You will own outbound prospecting, identify high-potential targets, and collaborate with Account Executives to grow the pipeline. Expect a fast-paced environment with emphasis on curiosity, humility, and a bias toward action.
Grants fund nonprofit work, but they also create some of the toughest operational challenges. Every grant brings its own deadlines, spending restrictions, reporting requirements, and commitments, so managing that complexity across fundraising, finance, and HR requires more than spreadsheets.
Instrumentl is the system of record for grants. We bring discovery, applications, award compliance, and grant operations into one platform, giving nonprofits a shared foundation to grow their revenue and impact. More than 6,000 nonprofits rely on Instrumentl, from local community groups to state and county governments, universities, and maybe even your local animal shelter.
We're a cash flow positive, YC-backed company building our next chapter, and we're hiring people who will shape and grow the impact of the nonprofit sector.
We're hiring an Outbound Sales Development Representative, reporting to the Senior Sales Development Manager, to build and own Instrumentl's cold outbound motion from the ground up. You'll be on the front lines identifying and reaching out to nonprofits and universities that could benefit from Instrumentl but don't know us yet, a function we've proven works and are now scaling. If you want to do meaningful sales work and build a career at the same time, this is the role.
