Job summary

Arrowhead Engineered Products in Tennessee is seeking a warehouse associate to load/unload crates, pick parts, weigh items, and pack orders for shipment. This role requires operating forklifts and cherry pickers, accuracy, and adherence to safety rules.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 1+ years of related experience, RF handheld experience, and proficient English communication to follow safety protocols and procedures.

Qualifications

• Certified to operate forklifts and cherry pickers.
• Strong proficiency in English communication including reading, writing, and verbal interactions for safety protocols and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to operate forklifts and cherry pickers.
• Accurately pick parts throughout the warehouse.
• Weigh product using the proper scales.
• Check part numbers and quantities with a high degree of accuracy.
• Accurately pack orders into shipping cartons, verifying all components of the order are accounted for the correct customer.
• Responsible for reading customer order notes and filling the order with any special customer requirements.
• Maintain stock of warehouse and shipping supplies.
• Assist in counting physical inventory; perform inventory audits as needed.
• Notify Department Lead or Department Supervisor of any stock shelf issues.
• Report defective materials/product, shortages and/or questionable conditions to the Lead or Supervisor.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and orderliness.
• Follow all safety rules.
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk on level surfaces for a prolonged period. The employee frequently is required to talk and hear; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms above should height and below the waist. The employee must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. 70% of the day and up to 65 lbs. 30% of the day.
