Job summary

Sysco Tampa Bay in Tampa, FL is seeking a full-time Warehouse Loader to load pre-assembled merchandise and pallets for shipment under general supervision. The role requires lifting up to 100 pounds, forklift/pallet jack operation, and adherence to safety standards.

You will prepare products for delivery, wrap and stage pallets, and assist with truck loading per route mappings. Previous warehouse experience is preferred and a strong safety mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 3 months of warehouse experience.
• Experience operating an electric pallet jack or forklift preferred.
• Experience in foodservice distribution is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads shipments, lifting up to 100 pounds.
• Loads trucks according to maps and instructions.
• Packs product to avoid damages and maintain load stability.
• Wraps pallets to ensure stability.
• Unloads and cleans trucks as necessary.
• Operates stock trucks and mechanical jacks.
