Job summary

Ultipro is seeking a professional truck driver in Ellensburg, WA to transport loads to and from ports, following safety protocols and DOT regulations.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, completing DOT logs, and ensuring timely deliveries; must have CDL, TWIC, doubles endorsement and hazmat experience preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Drive semi to and from ports following safety protocols.
• Deliver load following port protocol.
• Maintain equipment and service as needed.
• Complete DOT and safety records per regulations and company policy.
• Follow all DOT safety regulations at all times.
• Complete paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain truck and ensure fuel efficiency.
• Pick up clean, undamaged containers.
• Occasionally operate on the inbound schedule as needed.
• Slip Seat.

Pay: pay by load/distance depending on outbound/inbound

Job Functions

• Drive semi to and from ports following all safety protocols
• Deliver load following port protocol
• Maintain equipment and service as needed
• Complete DOT and safety records in accordance with regulations and company policy
• Follow all DOT and safety regulations at all times
• Complete paperwork in a timely and accurate manner
• Maintain truck and take appropriate measures to insure maximum fuel efficiency
• Pick up clean, undamaged, empty containers
• Occasionally operate on the Inbound schedule as needed.
• Slip Seat

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, & Other Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2 years’ driving experience
• Hold CDL License & TWIC Card with clean driving record
• Hold Doubles Endorsement
• Previous hazardous driving experience

Physical Demands

• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than 20 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus.
• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently required to sit.
