Working closely with Outage Coordination Engineers, System Operators, Project Managers, and field personnel, the intern gains exposure to electric transmission operations, outage scheduling processes, and power system reliability considerations.Typical intern responsibilities may include but are not limited to:- Conduct real time and day-ahead studies of the transmission system.- Coordinate, sequence, plan and process requests for outages on the transmission system.- Analyze outage impacts and prepare reports, spreadsheets, and presentations supporting outage coordination decisions.- Learn and apply transmission operations, reliability, and safety requirements while supporting real-world outage planning activities.This position is for a May 31, 2027 start date.
