Job summary

Sure Shot Express LLC is seeking a motivated and reliable Over-the-Road Truck Driver based out of Jordan, MN. You will operate long-haul routes, prioritizing on-time, safe delivery and strong communication with dispatch.

This role requires a CDL-A, 1–2 years of verifiable OTR experience, a clean MVR, and the ability to be away from home for extended periods. You will complete pre/post-trip inspections and maintain DOT-compliant logs.

Qualifications

• CDL-A license required.
• 1–2 years OTR experience preferred.
• Clean MVR and background check.
• Knowledge of ELD and DOT/FMCSA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial truck over long-haul, OTR routes across regional and national corridors
• Ensure safe and timely delivery of freight to customers and distribution centers
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT regulations
• Maintain accurate logs using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) per FMCSA Hours of Service rules
• Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route updates, delays, or issues
• Secure and verify loads to ensure cargo integrity throughout transit
• Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws
