Job summary

PepsiCo Inc. in Massillon, OH is hiring a full-time driver to safely operate a tractor/trailer and deliver products to local stores. The role requires a Class A CDL, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift and move product during long shifts.

You will load/unload, maintain logs, and coordinate with dispatch while working holidays and weekends. This position offers on-the-job training and comprehensive benefits through PepsiCo.

Qualifications

• 21 years or older.
• Possess a valid Class A commercial driver’s license.
• Have at least 100,000 verifiable accident-free miles or more than 2,500 accident-free hours.
• Willing to work holidays and weekends.
• Ability to lift 15 to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and handle products with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time, up to five hours daily, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to work up to 14 hours a day and drive a tractor trailer for extended periods of time, up to 11 hours per day, with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor/trailer and transport products to and from specified destinations in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
• Load and unload trailers, including manual loading and palletized loading/unloading with a two-wheeler.
• Transport chips, dips, and more to grocery stores, manufacturing facilities, and storage units.
• Obtain signatures, pick up returns, complete logs and paperwork, review invoices and manifests.
• Use an electronic logging device and perform pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Communicate with customers, sales drivers, and dispatch throughout the day or night.
