Job summary

Snider Fleet Solutions is seeking an OTR Tire Technician to service customers with all tire and wheel needs from a company service truck. Travel to sites will be about 75% as you inspect, repair, and mount/dismount OTR tires across construction, earthmoving, mining and related industries.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid Class C license, and DOT/MSHA certifications as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years old with a clean driving record.
• DOT Medical Certification is required.
• TIA Level 300 with OTR supplement training within 3 months of hire.
• TIA Level 200 required at onboarding.
• MSHA certification before servicing MSHA sites.

Responsibilities

• Safely handle customer equipment following OSHA/MHSA standards.
• Use hydraulic jack, power hoist, lug wrench and torque wrench.
• Identify tire punctures and determine repair or replacement needs.
• Mount/dismount various sizes and types of OTR tires/wheels.
• Maintain cleanliness and inventory on service truck and personal gear.
• Complete paperwork for each job and provide excellent customer service.
• Travel approximately 75% to multiple locations to service customers.
• Determine correct tire application and forecast tire life.
• Follow safety rules and wear PPE; maintain punctuality and attendance.
• Adhere to company policies and safety practices.
