Job summary

Ecology Auto Parts, Inc. seeks qualified Class A CDL drivers with Tanker Endorsement to haul liquids between client facilities and job sites across Southern California.

This full-time, non-exempt role requires up to 14-hour shifts, strict DOT compliance, and a strong safety record as you support active construction projects.

Base location Thousand Palms, CA; competitive pay and benefits including medical, dental, Vision, 401k, and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Tanker Endorsement REQUIRED.
• Minimum 2 years Class A driving experience REQUIRED.
• Experience hauling liquids or similar materials preferred.
• Strong understanding of DOT regulations and compliance.
• Ability to work long shifts (up to 14 hours/day).
• Reliable work ethic and safety-focused.
• Ability to work independently with clear communication.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A tanker trucks between client facilities and job sites.
• Follow DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of tractor and tanker equipment.
• Monitor load integrity and operate tanker valves and pumping equipment.
• Maintain driver logs, inspection reports, and trip documentation.
• Communicate with dispatch, project supervisors, and site personnel.
• Follow hauling routes and schedules to support project operations.
• Maintain awareness of site safety and environmental standards.
• Report equipment issues or safety concerns to management.
• Represent Ecology Auto Parts professionally on active project sites.

CLASS A TANKER DRIVER (OTR)

Position Summary

Ecology Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking qualified and experienced Class A CDL Drivers with Tanker Endorsement to support various projects. Drivers will be responsible for hauling from a client facility to designated job sites, ensuring safe and efficient transport while complying with all DOT regulations and company safety standards. This position requires a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Tanker endorsement, strong operational discipline, and the ability to work extended hours during an active construction or industrial project. Drivers from the Inland Empire and Southern California who are looking to work OTR are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A tanker trucks transporting between client facilities and job sites
• Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of tractor and tanker equipment
• Monitor load integrity and ensure safe operation of tanker valves and pumping equipment
• Maintain accurate driver logs, inspection reports, and trip documentation
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, project supervisors, and job site personnel
• Follow designated hauling routes and schedules to support project operations
• Maintain awareness of site safety requirements and environmental compliance standards
• Report equipment issues or safety concerns immediately to management
• Maintain professional conduct while representing Ecology Auto Parts on active project sites

Qualifications/Knowledge/Critical Skills

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Tanker Endorsement REQUIRED
• Minimum 2 years of Class A driving experience REQUIRED
• Experience hauling liquids, water, or similar materials preferred
• Strong understanding of DOT regulations and driver compliance requirements
• Ability to work long shifts (up to 14 hours per day) during active project schedules
• Reliable work ethic and strong commitment to safety
• Ability to work independently while maintaining communication with operations personnel
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Physical Demands/Environmental Factors

• Drivers must regularly sit for extended periods while operating commercial vehicles
• Use hands and arms to operate tanker equipment, valves, and vehicle controls
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required include distance vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
• Work may involve exposure to outdoor weather conditions and construction environments.

Compensation

The Tanker position offers a competitive yearly compensation range of $78,000.00 to $109,200.00 per year, commensurate with performance, experience, certifications, and demonstrated skill level.
