Job summary

IRH in Salt Lake City, UT seeks an experienced flatbed driver to join our team. You will operate company-owned equipment, secure loads, and ensure safe, on-time delivery across 48 states.

Based in Salt Lake City, you’ll typically be on the road for extended periods with a focus on safety and efficiency. Requirements include a Class A CDL, 1+ years of flatbed experience, 3+ years CDL driving, ability to lift 70+ lbs, clean MVR, and passing DOT drug tests and physicals.

Qualifications

• CDL required and 21+ years old.
• Minimum 1 year flatbed experience.
• 3+ years of Class A CDL driving experience.
• Must be able to lift 70+ lbs.
• Clean MVR and able to pass drug tests.
• Pre-employment physical abilities test required.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, and transport machinery and equipment.
• Operate company-owned flatbed/step-deck trailers.
• Rigging assistance and load‑securement with crew.
• Travel throughout 48 contiguous states; typically extended trips.
• Perform pre- and post‑trip inspections and paperwork.

IRH is seeking experienced flatbed drivers to join our growing team. IRH specializes in rigging, machinery moving, millwright, heavy transportation, logistics, warehousing, trans‑loading, packaging, and asset recovery services. IRH offers a competitive salary & outstanding benefit!

Summary:

The light haul drivers will be responsible for loading, securing, and transporting various equipment and machinery. You will be working closely with a team of experienced riggers to ensure a safe and proper move.

Job Duties include (but not limited to):

• Company-driver position operating company-owned equipment
• Must be based in the Salt Lake City, Utah area
• Typically out on the road for approximately 4 weeks at a time
• Minimum of one year of flatbed driving experience required
• Rigging and load‑securement experience required
• Travel throughout all 48 contiguous states
• Frequently runs to Texas, Georgia, Ohio, Illinois, and Pennsylvania
• Hauls machinery, rail equipment, oversized loads, and specialty freight
• Operates flatbed and step‑deck trailers
• Local account work may be assigned between OTR runs

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Class A CDL
• Must be 21 years old or older (for insurability purposes)
• 1+ years’ flatbed experience
• 3+ years’ Class A CDL driving experience
• Must be able to lift 70+ lbs
• Self‑motivated, capable of accomplishing task independently without direct supervision
• Must have clean a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
• Must be able to clear an initial drug screening as well as periodic random screenings as required by the DOT
• Must be able to pass a pre‑employment physical abilities test
