Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
• 2-3 years of proven long-distance trucking experience.
• Ability to operate manual transmission trucks.
• Knowledge of GPS navigation and route planning.
• Familiarity with DOT/FMCSA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailers on long-haul routes across multiple states.
• Plan routes with GPS and planning tools to ensure timely deliveries.
• Stage freight with proper handling and ensure cargo safety.
• Comply with FMCSA, DOT, and hazmat regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain logs of driving hours and cargo manifests as required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailers on over-the-road routes, covering extensive distances across multiple states.
• Navigate efficiently using GPS systems and route planning tools to ensure timely deliveries.
• Staging freight for unloading with proper manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo integrity and safety compliance.
• Comply with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation), and hazardous materials regulations during all phases of transportation.
• Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety and operational standards.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery documentation, and cargo manifests in accordance with legal requirements.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL Class A) with a clean driving record.
• 2-3 years proven experience in commercial truck driving, especially with route driving over long distances.
• Ability to operate manual transmission trucks and tractor-trailers confidently.
• Knowledge of GPS navigation systems and logistics cargo handling procedures.
• Experience with truck loading/unloading processes for freight including flatbed or tanker loads.
• Strong understanding of DOT regulations, FMCSA guidelines, and safety standards for commercial driving.
• Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks related to load & unload activities.
