GEX Transport is hiring a Trainee Driver to join its O.T.R team in the Savannah area. Paid training with a Driver Mentor helps you learn the ropes while you earn and build miles.

The program includes 2 weeks of over-the-road time with 2 days at home, and weekly pay ranging from $1,300 to $1,500. If you have a CDL Class A and meet the minimums, you can start a career with steady freight and supportive dispatch.

Qualifications

• minimum age of 21 with a valid CDL Class A license
• CDL school certificate with at least one hundred twenty hours
• Clean M.V.R and background
• Ability to pass D.O.T drug screening

Responsibilities

• Complete all required inspections.
• Deliver freight safely and on schedule.
• Operate a Class A tractor trailer on long haul routes.
• Maintain accurate logs and trip paperwork.
• Communicate professionally with dispatch and driver managers.

Education

CDL school certificate with at least 120 hours
