Job summary

ASB Freight Co. is seeking Class A CDL drivers within 90 miles of Camp Hill, PA. We offer experienced solo, mentor, and new-driver training paths to fit your background. Expect OTR freight with 100% no-touch, home every 7-10 days, and weekly pay.

Choose solo, mentor, or our new-driver program to gain essential experience. Mentors earn additional pay, and new grads can start training immediately with hands-on instruction. Applications are encouraged from qualified individuals nationwide.

We're currently adding Class A CDL drivers who live within 90 miles of Camp Hill, PA. Opportunities are available for experienced solo drivers, qualified driver mentors, and recent CDL graduates entering the industry.

Choose the path that fits your experience - run solo, step into a mentor role, or build your first months of experience through our new-driver training program.

EXPERIENCED SOLO DRIVERS

Get consistent OTR freight without driver unloads or complicated delivery requirements.

• $0.55-$0.65 CPM, based on experience
• Consistent OTR miles
• 100% no-touch freight
• Home every 7-10 days

• Year-round freight
• Weekly pay
• Additional performance incentives may be available

Drivers can expect a traditional OTR schedule with time at home between runs.

TAKE THE NEXT STEP: BECOME A DRIVER MENTOR

Have experience behind the wheel and enjoy helping newer drivers learn the job?

Qualified drivers can move into a Driver Mentor position and earn additional compensation while helping newly licensed drivers complete their required OTR training.

A typical training assignment lasts approximately 11 days:

Day 1: Observation and introduction to the truck

Days 2-11: Qualifying OTR training days with the student driver

Mentors can take home time or return to solo driving between trainees depending on availability and scheduling.

Mentor Earnings

Your regular base rate remains $0.55-$0.65 CPM based on experience, with additional mentor compensation available:

• +$0.10 CPM training pay
• Up to +$0.10 CPM productivity pay
• Potential total rate of up to $0.85 CPM
• Additional bonus opportunities may be available
• Priority miles during training assignments
• Weekly pay

Structured online checklists are provided to help mentors guide each trainee through the program.

JUST EARNED YOUR CLASS A CDL?

You don't need three months of experience to get started.

Recent CDL graduates are encouraged to apply for our new-driver training program. You'll receive hands-on OTR training with an experienced mentor while building the experience needed to transition into a solo position.

New drivers receive:

• Paid OTR training
• One-on-one experience with a qualified driver mentor
• $0.35 CPM during training and while completing the first 3 months of experience
• Opportunity to transition to experienced solo-driver pay after reaching 3 months of qualifying experience

Once the first 3 months of experience are completed, eligible drivers can move into the standard solo pay range of $0.55CPM.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Experienced driver applicants must:

• Hold a valid Class A CDL
• Have at least 3 months of recent, verifiable tractor-trailer experience
• Live within 90 miles of Camp Hill, PA
• Be at least 21 years old
• Meet applicable DOT qualification requirements
• Be authorized to work in the United States

Recent CDL graduates who qualify for the training program are not required to already have 3 months of tractor-trailer experience.
