Job summary

Northern National Trucking, located in Clear Lake, Iowa, is seeking a Class A CDL OTR Driver to join our professional driving team. This position transports products over longer distances with a strong commitment to safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL (required).
• Valid DOT Medical Card (required).
• Clean driving record (required).
• Ability to operate manual and automatic transmissions (required).
• Ability to pass pre-employment DOT physical and drug screening (required).
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport products over longer distances to dealer, customer, and distribution locations.
• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections per DOT and company requirements.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload products safely and accurately.
• Maintain logs, trip documentation, delivery records, mileage and expenses.
• Communicate with dispatch, customers and team during trips.
• Follow DOT hours-of-service and company safety standards.
• Plan routes and manage time to meet delivery schedules.
• Represent the company professionally at customer locations.
• Report vehicle concerns or safety issues promptly.
