Job summary

Careerweb is seeking an OTR Driver to operate tractor/trailer or straight truck in compliance with all DOT regulations, transporting products safely from the Distribution Centers and their Vendors to destinations.

The position requires a Class A CDL and a minimum of 2 years driving experience with a clean driving record. Travel is approximately 75% or more, with overtime pay and comprehensive benefits starting day one. Shift is Mon-Fri with weekends at home for regional roles.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of tractor trailer Class A driving experience.
Class A CDL required.
Meets FMCSA and company requirements.
Pass Background and Drug Screening.
Clean driving records.

Responsibilities

Operate tractor/trailer to transport product safely and legally from Distribution Centers to Vendor destinations.
Deliver products in a timely manner.
Monitor freight for secure devices and straps to ensure damage-free delivery.
Follow company policy and required trainings; keep truck clean.
Maintain driver's daily logs, trip reports and other documents as required.
Perform full pre-trip and post-trip inspections on tractor-trailer.
Report damaged product to Transportation Supervisor/Manager immediately.
Communicate delivery issues up line to Transportation Supervisor/Manager.
Keep equipment fueled and in inspection compliance.
Maintain professional conduct with other motorists.
Conform to all DOT and OSHA regulations.
Perform other reasonable requests by management.
