Job summary

VoltaGrid LLC is seeking a Transport Driver to move products safely between facilities, terminals, and customer sites, complying with all federal, state, local and company policies. Responsibilities include completing pre- and post-trip inspections, maintaining logs, loading and transporting fuel, and coordinating with logistics to resolve issues while upholding safety standards.

This role requires a Class A CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements (and doubles where required), at least 3 years

Qualifications

• Class A CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements required; doubles where operation requires.
• DOT medical certificate required.
• Knowledge of DOT, EPA, OSHA, and FMCSA regulations.
• Minimum 3 years prior experience driving a combination vehicle.
• Maximum 2 moving violations in the previous three-year period.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections of truck and trailer; report any mechanical issues to appropriate personnel.
• Accurately maintain both electronic and paper daily driver logs and all necessary delivery tickets and bills of lading.
• Load, transport, and unload fuel at terminals, stores, wholesale, and retail customers' tanks in compliance with company/terminal policies and guidelines for transporting hazardous materials.
• Enter all load information into the electronic reporting system at time of loading and delivery.
• Communicate with logistics department and field management on customer issues or safety concerns.
• Maintain and promote professional relationships with all team members, terminal employees, customers, and guests.
• Able to safely clean up a fuel spill and/or notify the correct personnel in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness of truck and trailer.
• Model behaviors that support the company's common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level.
• Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
