Optimum Staffing, Inc. is seeking a professional truck driver in Marion, VA for full-time, temp-to-perm work. You will operate a manual- transmission Sleeper Tractor with curtain-side trailers, deliver 8-20 ft building materials, and complete 2-3 trips weekly with 1-4 stops per trip across the Eastern U.S. and Midwest.

Expect weekly earnings around $1,500+, with overtime after 40 hours. Depart Sundays and return Fridays, with no NYC deliveries. DOT-compliant and safety-focused role.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with at least 24 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Must operate a manual transmission tractor.
• Comfort with Sleeper Tractors, Curtain-Side Trailers and Dry Vans.
• Willingness to run OT after 40 hours and travel across the Eastern U.S. and Midwest.
• Must pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Earn $30.00/HR | $1,500+ Weekly | Paid Weekly
• Full-Time | Temp-to-Perm Opportunity | OT After 40 Hours
• Work Sunday-Friday, departing Sunday afternoon and returning Friday afternoon
• Operate a Manual Transmission Sleeper Tractor with curtain-side trailers and occasional dry vans
• Transport building materials ranging from 8-20 feet for Royal Building Products
• Complete 2-3 trips per week, averaging 1-4 delivery stops per trip
• Travel throughout the Eastern United States and Midwest, with NO deliveries to NYC or Long Island
• Enjoy No Touch Freight, with loads departing from Marion, VA, while following all DOT safety regulations

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with at least 24 months of verifiable commercial driving experience
• MUST be able to operate a MANUAL TRANSMISSION tractor - no automatic-only restrictions
• Must be comfortable operating Sleeper Tractors with Curtain-Side Trailers and Dry Vans
• Must be willing to complete OTR routes throughout the Eastern U.S. and Midwest
• MUST be available to depart Sunday afternoons and remain on the road through Friday afternoons
• Must be comfortable hauling building materials ranging from 8-20 feet and completing multiple delivery stops
• Must be able to pass a DOT Physical, Drug Screen, and Background Checks
• No DUIs/DWIs within the last 5 years and no more than 3 moving violations within the last 36 months
